The teaching pillar of the Department of Medicine Educator Academy:

  • Builds and preserves a community of people who are passionate, knowledgeable, and interested in teaching. This pillar encourages our educators to be key leaders within DOM. 
  • Guides faculty and staff by testing innovative education methods, supporting peer teaching guidance, and providing observation of teaching techniques. Fosters a society of educational excellence and collaboration across divisions. 
  • Offers sessions on teaching for early and advanced educators throughout the year and at the annual Education Day.
