Twenty faculty members in the Department of Medicine have been named to the Top Doctors in Madison list for 2018-19.

The list is produced every other year by Madison Magazine, which surveys Dane County medical doctors and doctors of osteopathic medicine for recommendations of which physicians they would see or would send their loved ones to if they needed care in a wide range of specialties.

Physicians designated as Top Doctors in each specialty category garnered 10 percent or more of votes. In categories where votes were below 10 percent, the top three vote-getters were given the designation (or more than three in the case of ties).
