If you are interested in creating a social media account for your division or subunit, please fill out this planning document to think more about your goals, audience and content strategy, then contact DOM communications team at marketing@medicine.wisc.edu. We are strongly recommending that units consider whether they have sufficient resources to commit to staffing any new account, and we may begin leaning into asking for more example content prior to approval.
All institutional accounts on any social platform need to be approved by and registered with SMPH. Account information must be shared with both the DOM communications team and SMPH. Unauthorized or inactive social media accounts established by divisions or programs are subject to closure.
