Attendees will leave this Lunch and Learn session equipped with new knowledge around disability and ableism and gain practical tools they can apply to their work/learning environment.

  • Increase knowledge and awareness of disabilities, disability descriptions, and examples of disabilities
  • Define ableism and ability-based privilege and their impacts on learning environments
  • Increase knowledge on ways to interrupt ableism and apply disability-conscious best practices
