Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Quality Improvement Project
Dr. Matthew Biller has three degrees from the University of Wisconsin Madison: a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and an M.D. Matthew is from West Bend, WI. While in graduate school he earned a Biological Scholar award (for his strong biology background) and a Dohmen Fund Fellowship (for his strong academic background), he also earned a National Starch and Chemical Foundation Scholarship as an undergraduate. He has worked and volunteered with older adults in many ways, including working as a certified nursing assistant in assisted living facilities before medical school. He enjoys the Madison scenery during walks, video games, exploring restaurants, and spending time with family. Dr. Biller’s fellowship is October 1, 2023-September 30, 2024.

As a result of this educational regularly scheduled series, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Describe the process of implementing a self-directed psychotherapy curriculum on an inpatient unit.
- Outline how to gather patient feedback on a psychotherapy curriculum.
- Explain how veterans respond to a psychotherapy resource designed for the general population.
