Meet an Alum: Dr. Zachary Fellows
Class of 2020
Post-graduate employment: Private practice, Synergy Rheumatology, Carlsbad, CA.
Dr. Fellows is also a volunteer guest lecturer on rheumatology topics for the John Muir Family Medicine Residency, and an industry consultant on CTD-associated ILD treatment.
How our program prepared him: “My time at UW prepared me to handle the full spectrum of rheumatic disease, from the relatively mundane tennis elbow referrals to the life-threatening vasculitides and all between.... The ultrasound training that we all received there with Dr. Arnason was a special perk and ultimately a massive boon—it isn't just helpful daily for patients, it ended up being a key reason I was recruited to this particular clinic since that ultrasound skillset is still fairly uncommon in our field.”
