Dr. Douglas McNeel elected as director of Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer
Douglas McNeel, MD, PhD, professor, Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care, has been elected as at-large director of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC).
SITC is a leading member-driven organization dedicated to professionals in the cancer immunotherapy field. Its mission is to improve cancer patient outcomes by advancing the science, development and application of cancer immunology and immunotherapy through our core values of interaction/integration, innovation, translation and leadership in the field.
As an at-large director, Dr. McNeel and other members of the SITC Board will promote the goals and vision of the society to advance the science and application of cancer immunotherapy.
Members of the Board of Directors have full responsibility for the management, direction and control of the business, policies and affairs of the society, subject only to limitations set forth in the society's Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.
