Dr. Parag Tipnis is a faculty member of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Department of Medicine and is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Echocardiography. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography. Dr. Tipnis is active in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in outpatient clinic, inpatient clinical cardiology wards, and on the echocardiography fellow rotation.
Dr. Tipnis’ clinical interests include echocardiography and heart valve medicine. He divides his clinical time among the cardiovascular medicine e-consult service, cardiology clinic, and echocardiography procedures including the MitraClip procedure.
