Professional Activities

Dr. Elaine Pelley is a faculty member in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism within the Department of Medicine. She is the director of preclinical medical education for the UW School of Medicine and Public Health ForWard Curriculum, where she oversees the first year and a half of the MD curriculum.  She also serves as Program Director for the Endocrinology Fellowship at UW Health.  Dr. Pelley serves as an advisory council member for the Master of Genetic Counselor Studies Program.  She is also a leading voice in the area of gender equity in medicine.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Pelley is an endocrinologist with clinical interests in osteoporosis, calcium/parathyroid disorders and hypophosphatemic disorders.
