Professional Activities

Dr. Jane Pearson is a faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Department of Medicine. She is a Certified Hypertension Specialist, a fellow of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology, and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the National Lipid Association, and the American Heart Association. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Pearson has served on the Dane County American Heart Association Board of Directors and is president emeritus.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Pearson’s clinical focus is comprehensive cardiovascular health, advanced hypertension, dyslipidemia/cholesterol disorders and cardiac rehabilitation. Her clinical care includes both pharmacological (medication) and lifestyle (diet and exercise) therapies.
