Follow Dr. O'Connor:
Dr. Anne O'Connor is a faculty member and Senior Associate Chief for Ambulatory and Regional Services for the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. She holds the Dr. Herman and Ailene Tuchman Chair in Clinical Cardiology.
Dr. O'Connor is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC). She is an active member of the Wisconsin ACC Chapter chairing the Women in Cardiology (WIC) Committee for the state chapter. Within the national ACC, she is a member of the Cardiovascular Medicine Management Council. Dr. O'Connor completed the UW Medical Foundation Physician Leadership Development Program and was part of the inaugural cohort for of the ACC’s Sandra J. Lewis Mid-Career Women’s Leadership Institute
Dr. O’Connor is also involved in the teaching and training of medical students, residents and cardiovascular medicine fellows. She attends regularly on the inpatient cardiovascular medicine teaching services and contributes to the fellowship and resident lecture series.
Dr. O’Connor is a general cardiologist with special interests in echocardiography.
