Dr. Mounajjed is a faculty member in the Division of Infectious Disease within the Department of Medicine. Formerly the chief of Internal Medicine at Affinity Health, Dr. Mounajjed is now involved in teaching residents and medical students. He has been a recipient of the Shield of Excellence award from Mercy Health and is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA).
Dr. Mounajjed's clinical interests include orthopedic hardware infections, HIV treatment and prevention, and general infectious diseases.
Dr. Mounajjed's research interests include general infectious diseases.
