Professional Activities

Dr. Robert Hegeman is a faculty member in the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care within the Department of Medicine. He is a member of the UnityPoint Health–Meriter Peer Review Committee and Ethics Advisory Group, is a recipient of a UW Health Physician Champion award and is a two-time recipient of a UW Health Ambulatory Patient Experience Champion award.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Hegeman is a medical oncologist who provides care for a range of hematology and oncology patients. He is a member of the UW Health Breast Center and the UW Health melanoma team.
