Dr. David Harris is an affiliate faculty member in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism within the Department of Medicine. He is a minimally invasive bariatric surgeon whose research focuses on the mechanistic intersection between metabolic therapies, host metabolism, organ function, and aging. 

Dr. Harris' primary academic appointment is in the Department of Surgery.
