Kristin Hansen, BS, RDCS, RVT, is an Ultrasound Research Specialist at the Atherosclerosis Imaging Research Program within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine where she is Associate Lab Manager. She is a member of the South-Central Wisconsin Ultrasound Society and American Society of Echocardiography.
Kristin is an echo/vascular sonographer at UW Hospital and Clinics. She is a registered cardiac sonographer and registered vascular sonographer with the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers.

Kristin’s research interests are in ultrasound assessment of atherosclerosis and smoking cessation. Specific interests include arterial wall tissue and plaque characterization using ultrasound.
