Professional Activities

Dr. Golden is a tenure-track faculty member in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine. She is the recipient of a National Institute on Aging (NIA) K23 Career Development Award examining collaborative identification and prevention of delirium superimposed on dementia (DSD) between family caregivers and clinicians.

Dr. Golden serves as the Director of Academic Development in the Division of Hospital Medicine and as a Director of the Acute Care Research Group. She serves on national committees for the Society of Hospital Medicine and Society of General Internal Medicine. She is a prior NIA Butler-Williams Scholar and Journal of Hospital Medicine Editorial Fellow.

Dr. Golden's clinical interests include delirium and hospital care of older adults.

Dr. Golden's research focuses on improving patient- and family-centered care delivery for hospitalized adults with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) who are at high risk for delirium.
