Dr. Zachary D. Goldberger is a faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Department of Medicine. He is the Program Director for the Cardiovascular Disease fellowship, Associate Chief for Education for the Division of CVM, and Medical Director of the ECG and Arrhythmia Monitoring Laboratory (Heart Station). Dr. Goldberger specializes in noninvasive electrophysiology and electrocardiography. As a medical educator, Dr. Goldberger engages in formal teaching of medical students, residents and cardiology fellows, and has received several teaching awards. He lectures annually at national meetings for various professional societies, including American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association and Heart Rhythm Society. He has served on writing committees for several clinical practice guidelines and serves on editorial boards for journals including Circulation, JAMA Internal Medicine and the Journal of Electrocardiology. He is also involved in exam development through the American Board of Internal Medicine, and serves on several national committees through the ACC and AHA. Dr. Goldberger is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), the American Heart Association (FAHA), the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS).
Dr. Goldberger’s clinical interests include cardiac electrophysiology, electrocardiography, and cardiac implantable devices.
