Professional Activities

Amanda DeVoss, MMS, PA-C, is an associate professor with the Department of Medicine, who also serves as the Interim Program Director with the UW-Madison PA Program. Amanda's commitment to education is evident through her multifaceted involvement in the program. For the last 13 years, Amanda has served as the Academic Director within the program, overseeing the curriculum for both the didactic and clinical year students. She also frequently coordinates service-learning experiences to Belize for PA and other health professions students.

Amanda has actively participated in various committees within UW Health, the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) and beyond, including the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease Practice Guidelines Committee. She recently finished a 3-year appointment to the Educational Policy and Curriculum Committee and currently sits on the ​​Physician Assistant Education Association Cultural Humility Exam Development Board.

Clinical Specialties

Amanda DeVoss' clinical interests include general hepatology and metabolic liver diseases.

Research Interests

Amanda DeVoss' research interests include changing medical biases in PA students, particularly as it relates to alcohol induced liver disease.
