Professional Activities

Dr. Bregman is a transplant nephrology faculty member in the Division of Nephrology within the Department of Medicine. Through a combination of clinical research and quality improvement efforts, Dr. Bregman is committed to improving outcomes for kidney transplant patients. Prior to joining UW, Dr. Bregman served as a transplant nephrologist at University of Minnesota where he was medical director of pancreas transplant. As a medical educator, Dr. Bregman has contributed to the development of a new General Nephrology Fellowship transplant curriculum at University of Minnesota and as a core Internal Medicine Faculty Member for the Internal Medicine Residency program.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Bregman’s clinical interests include improving long term graft outcomes in kidney transplant recipients, glomerular disease recurrence post-transplant and onconephrology.

Research Interests

Dr. Bregman’s clinical research focuses on long term graft outcomes and combined organ transplantation.
