Professional Activities 

Dr. Nicole Bonk is a faculty member in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine and holds an appointment with the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. Dr. Bonk serves as the Chief Medical Officer for SMPH's Orion Initiative. She is working to support frontline rural providers by improving collaboration with rural sites. As a hospitalist, Dr. Bonk focuses on providing care to adult patients in inpatient settings. Dr. Bonk is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians. In 2025, she received her master’s in medical management at Carnegie Mellon University. Her scholarly interests focus on improving care delivery in various settings throughout the healthcare system.
