What is your primary professional focus in any or all of our mission areas (clinical, research, and/or medical education)?
My primary professional focus is the clinical care of patients with melanoma and other advanced cutaneous malignancies including basal cell carcinoma, cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, and Merkel cell carcinoma. In terms of research, I am interested in early phase clinical trials and optimizing treatment strategies in melanoma and other skin cancers.
What drew you to UW-Madison and the Department of Medicine?
I was drawn to UW-Madison because of the vast research opportunities and the collegiality amongst the faculty and staff.
What are you most excited about during your first year with the department in this role?
I am most excited about collaborating with other researchers, opening new clinical trials, and delivering high-quality care to our cancer patients.
What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?
I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, jogging, swimming, and trying out new restaurants!
