What is your primary professional focus as it relates to our mission areas (clinical, research and/or medical education)?
Medical education, QI.
What drew you to UW–Madison and the Department of Medicine?
Academic opportunities.
What are you most excited about during your first year with the department in this role?
I am most excited in getting to know my colleagues, learn more about their passions and areas of interest, and getting to know the system and the culture so I can get involved in system wide projects that align with my goals. I also want to get involved with advocacy for the medical community and connect the urban and rural medical education within the system.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I like the outdoors and reading.
Favorite piece of advice from a mentor or inspiring figure in your life?
You never know what someone is going through.
