Dr. Ozioma Okonkwo presents invited talk at cognitive aging summit
Ozioma Okonkwo, PhD, assistant professor, Geriatrics and Gerontology, presented an invited talk at The Cognitive Aging Summit III convened by the National Institutes of Health - National Institute on Aging in North Bethesda, Maryland on April 6-7, 2017.
His talk was entitled, “Aerobic fitness and genetics contribute to resilience in Alzheimer’s Disease.”
The summit was attended by nearly 300 researchers and private foundation representatives. Investigators from around the world delivered lectures and discussed key issues facing the public about methods to preserve or improve cognitive function and brain health during aging.
