American Society for Clinical Oncology meeting connects researchers and brings hope to patients

Describing the annual American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO) conference as the "Superbowl of Cancer Research," a story on WISC-TV included an interview with Joshua Lang, MD, MS, assistant professor, Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care. 

Dr. Lang explained the significance of the meeting, which took place in Chicago, Illinois on June 2-7, 2017. 

“ASCO is this amazing collection of individuals - tens of thousands of people interested in trying to improve cancer care across the world,” said Dr. Lang, who presented his findings on liquid biopsy research.
