Early Detection and Diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias
Lindsay Clark, PhD, is a clinical neuropsychologist with an interdisciplinary research program that aims to improve early detection and prognosis of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD).
Research Overview
Dr. Clarks's research program focuses on three areas:
- Identifying and characterizing early cognitive decline associated with neuroimaging and cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers of ADRD
- Quantifying the risks and benefits of early detection of ADRD and developing effective strategies to disclose Alzheimer’s disease risk-related information, such as amyloid PET scan results, to adults at risk.
- Validating digital tools and tele-neuropsychology approaches to improve early detection of clinical symptoms of ADRD and expand access to dementia evaluations
