What is your primary professional focus as it relates to our mission areas (clinical, research and/or medical education)?
My primary professional focus is general and non-invasive cardiology with clinical interests in multimodal imaging, echocardiography, valvular heart disease and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
What drew you to UW–Madison and the Department of Medicine?
The collegiate professional environment, the ability for advanced training in my specialty, and multiple avenues for continued professional and personal growth were big drivers of my interest in UW–Madison.
What are you most excited about during your first year with the department in this role?
I'm looking forward to giving a Grand Rounds presentation on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in January 2024!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I enjoy staying active, being outdoors, cooking, riding my bike and travelling.
Favorite piece of advice from a mentor or inspiring figure in your life?
The master has failed more times than the apprentice has even tried.
